Miguel Alaniz started AE Roofing to fix what he kept seeing broken.
Miguel Alaniz began his roofing career in 2013 as a high-volume sales representative. During that time, he saw a clear problem in the industry: homeowners needed more than a trustworthy person at the door. They needed a company that could stand behind every promise, communicate clearly, and execute the job the right way from start to finish.
That vision became AE Roofing & Construction. With the support of his wife, Ashley, a local Tulsa real estate agent, and their children — Noelle, Andres, and Isaiah — Miguel set out to build something bigger than a roofing company. AE Roofing was created to serve families and business owners with real solutions, honest guidance, and workmanship they can trust.
For the Alaniz family, this company is personal. It represents servitude, commitment, quality, and the responsibility of protecting what matters most.
It's not a glamorous industry. That's the point.
Roofing is one of the most complaint-heavy home services in Oklahoma. Insurance disputes, labor shortcuts, disappearing contractors. Every roofer in the state runs the same ads after a hail storm. Most of them are gone by November.
After years of watching companies over-promise and under-deliver, Miguel decided to build a company that did the opposite: communicate clearly, show up when you say you will, and do the work the right way the first time.
The mechanics of a roof are not complicated. Doing it right, documenting it, and being accountable for it years later, that's where most companies fall down. That's the part we decided to focus on.

Trusted crews, never day labor
Our installation crews are vetted sub crews we've worked with for years — never day laborers. Every job is managed and inspected by AE Roofing leadership. We stand behind the work because our name is on it.
Inspection-first, always
We don't give quotes over the phone. We inspect the roof, document everything, and then we talk numbers. Most contractors skip the documentation because it takes time. We made it non-negotiable because it's the only way to catch every line item before the job starts.
No assignment of benefits
We don't ask homeowners to sign over their insurance rights. Your claim, your adjuster, your money. We help you get paid what you're owed, but we won't use your policy as leverage. That practice is common and it damages homeowners in ways they don't find out about until the next renewal.
Come back policy
We schedule follow-up visits at six months and twenty-four months on every job we complete. Not because we expect problems. Because we want to find out if there are any before the homeowner does. It costs us time. It's worth it.
Oklahoma. For the long haul.
Today, AE Roofing & Construction is focused on becoming a staple in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and throughout Oklahoma. Our goal is to build a company that homeowners, business owners, and communities can trust for years to come — one that delivers quality projects, creates opportunity, and raises the standard in roofing and construction.
